Brown Ranch Marketplace

Brown Ranch Marketplace is a bustling center for shops, restaurants and entertainment in the heart of Santa Cruz County. The complex was built in 1922 but the property traces its roots back to 1911. The area previously served as the grounds for multiple Brown family businesses, including a berry farm and a lily farm. Today it supports 25 new businesses, all of which do their part to help maintain this vibrant community.

Dine & Shop In The Heart Of Santa Cruz County
We fully reimagined Brown Ranch's website, redesigning it from top to bottom. Every page is designed to be the best vehicle to showcase what the center has to offer. We capped it off with a completely custom content management system, giving them a quick and easy way to update virtually everything on the site.

Unique History. Unique Website.
Brown Ranch is 100% powered by our custom content management system, Sleepless CMS. This not only makes updates and maintenance seamless, but is much lighter and more secure than an open source content management system. This site is built to showcase their tenants, so they can easily add multiple images and keep all pertinent information updated. We also illustrated a map of their complex to indicate where each business is visually located.

Mobile On The Go
Santa Cruz has a huge tourism industry, so we wanted to make sure people passing through town could easily explore what Brown Ranch has to offer. Whether they’re driving around town and stopping to do a search on their mobile phone, or kicking back in their hotel room, they’ll easily be able to browse and find out more about Brown Ranch and its shops.
